A young boy named Chris wished to be a police officer for the day, and his wish came true. Make-A-Wish supporters around the globe celebrate this date as World Wish Day, in honor of the wish that sparked a global wish-granting movement.
This year, on Tuesday, April 29th, our Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves will officially proclaim April 29th as Mississippi Wish Day. We hope you will join us for this wonderful occasion. Wish kids and their families, volunteers and Make-A-Wish supporters from across the state will be in attendance to celebrate the first annual Mississippi Wish Day. The proclamation occurs at 10:30 a.m. on the second floor rotunda at the Mississippi State Capitol. Ice cream and refreshments will follow.
